This small group of building served a variety of uses. The main building Yarnbury House was the mine agents house and office. Behind this was a store, carpenters workshop and cottages for other mine agents. The single storey building to the right of the group was a blacksmiths shop.

This small building at the side of the road was the weigh house where all loads of lead were weighed and recorded before they left the mines.
